Join us after dark for this Soane Late as we delve deeper into the stories and design of this unique Museum, house, and studio. Mythic Time / Tens of Thousands of Rememberings, a collaborative exhibition between artist Lina Iris Viktor and the Museum will be illuminated throughout the evening.

Viktor’s work unearths connections across time and cultures, from ancient Egypt to medieval illumination and indigenous Australian art. In bringing together these connections, she mirrors Soane’s own eclectic approach to collecting objects from varied cultures and time periods. Viktor’s sculptural works, made especially for this exhibition, are interspersed throughout the Museum, introducing new presences and memories into Soane’s former home.

The whole Museum is yours to explore as you wander corridors lined by Sir John Soane’s vast collections including works by Canaletto, Turner and Hogarth. The Museum is at its most awe-inspiring after dark when our expert guides bring the vast and eclectic collections to life.
