British Sign Language users are invited to discover Soane and Modernism: Make It New with specially designed after-hours tour led by a Deaf guide to learn more about the connections between Soane and a variety of celebrated modernists including Le Corbusier, Frank Lloyd Wright, Adolf Loos and Ernö Goldfinger. Soane and Modernism: Make It New is the first exhibition to investigate Soane as a forerunner of architectural modernism.
Join BSL guide Edward Richards for this special tour of our new exhibition, as he uncovers all the connections between Soane's own work, using unseen drawings from his own collection, and architects of the Modernist style, some of whom were inspired by Sir John Soane directly.
Lasting around an hour and limited to 12 people, these tours led by Deaf guides are exclusively for D/deaf and hard of hearing visitors.
