Join Dr Erin McKellar, curator of The Architecture Drawing Prize, for a tour of the exhibition which showcases the winning and commended entries.
She will be joined by artist Tom Chan, shortlisted in the digital category for his drawing Gall-E: Interpolating Art, Space and Display in the Age of AI, who will discuss his work and experience of entering the prize.
Now in its seventh year, The Architecture Drawing Prize was set up by Make Architects, Sir John Soane’s Museum and the World Architecture Festival to celebrate the significance of drawing as a tool in capturing and communicating architectural ideas. The prize, sponsored by Iris Ceramica Group, was established to celebrate and showcase the art and skill of architectural drawing in three categories: hand-drawn, hybrid and digital. This year the prize has attracted a record number of entries with a strong majority of hand-drawn entries. As in previous years, the submissions are from around the world, attesting to the truly international nature of the prize and the great skill and originality of entrants.
This tour is now fully booked.
