Does Sir John Soane’s Museum offer paid or unpaid internships?
As a small organisation we are unable to offer work experience opportunities or internships.
We do however, offer other ways for young people to get involved with the work at Sir John Soane’s Museum, including our Youth Panel.

No, we cannot accept speculative CVs.
Can I apply to be a casual worker at the Soane?
Yes, we regularly recruit casual workers. See our Work with us page for current vacancies.
I don’t have the right to work in the UK, can you sponsor my visa?
No, all applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
Can I apply to work at the Museum if I do not live in London?
Yes, but all roles are based in the Museum at least part time.

I am an academic, where can I find out more about researching the Soane’s collections?
You can visit the Research Library and Archive by appointment, Wednesday to Friday, 10:00 to 13:00, 14:00 to 17:00. For more information or to book an appointment you can visit our webpage here.
