After consulting with our staff and volunteers, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close Sir John Soane’s Museum from Wednesday 22 December.
The safety and comfort of our staff, volunteers and visitors is our utmost priority, and staffing the Museum safely and effectively for all concerned through this current peak of COVID-19 infections is no longer possible. We will be in touch with all those who have booked timed tickets for the coming days as soon as we can.
We plan to reopen on Wednesday 29 December, circumstances allowing. Keep an eye on the website and social media channels for further updates.
